A healthy diet is very important for good health and nutrition. It protects our body for various chronic diseases, heart diseases, diabetes and cancer. 

How to make your Diet Healthy?

A healthy diet is a combination of different foods like:
1. Cereals- wheat, barley, maize, rice
2. Starchy roots- potato
3. Legumes- lentils, beans
4. Fruits and vegetables
5. Animal products- meat, fish, eggs, milk

One must include these foods to their diet and follow proper routine for being healthy.

 WATER

The best and simplest way of getting all time glowing and fresh skin is to drink more and more water. Everyone should drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses (two litres) of water per day. If a person sweats more, he should drink more glasses of water. It provides hydration without unwanted calories. Drinking water also helps in decrease your appetite and flushing wastes from the body. 

 OATS

They are the healthiest grains. It helps in weight loss, lowering blood sugar levels and reducing risk of heart diseases. Oatmeal contain high level of antioxidants and polyphenols which help in lowering blood pressure, improving blood flow and reducing inflammation and itching. The beta glucan in oatmeal coats the stomach and digestive tract. 

 OLIVES

Both green and black olives are full with high amounts of mono unsaturated fat and minerals, such as iron and copper. Olives are anti oxidants rich food which helps you to fight with strokes, cancer and heart attacks. Mono unsaturated fat present in olives decrease blood cholesterol and LDL cholesterol. Olives can also help in skin softening and make it healthy. Olives contain Vitamin E which neutralize free radicals in body fats. 

 CORN OIL

Corn oil contains hight amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids which lowers the cholesterol and keep your heart healthy. It has phytosterols which helps in reducing blood cholesterol level. It is also used to treat under nourished and dry hair. It acts as the conditioner and smoothens the hair. It could be used for massage oil for skin. 

 WATERMELON

Watermelon is not just water and sugar, but is highly nutrient densed food which provides high levels of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Watermelon reduces the risk of obesity, diabetes and heart diseases. Watermelon provides a healthy complexion and hair, increases energy and reduces body weight. It contains Vitamin C which lowers the risk of having asthma among people. It helps to prevent constipation and promotes a healthy digestive tract because of it's water and fiber content.

 EGGS

Eggs are a source of healthy fats including omega-3 fats. Eggs can provide many health benefits. They are rich in protein, low in calories and boosts metabolism. It also helps in losing weight. Antioxidants present in eggs supports healthy eyesight. Vitamin D promotes bone health and immune function. Vitamins and minerals present in eggs helps in effective functioning of brain and nervous system. 

 LEAFY GREENS

Green leafy vegetables contain high amounts of vitamins, minerals and disease fighting chemicals. It is rich in fibre and helps in digestion. Vegetables ensure beautiful skin and hair. They reduce the risk of cataracts and muscular degeneration due to the presence of Vitamin C, lutein and zeaxanthin. Vitamin C also reduces the risk of arthritis and bone fractures.
